Transitional period chest of drawers in the form of a jumper with a central projection opening with 2 drawers without a crosspiece. In rosewood and amaranth veneer inlaid with flower vases, cups, teapots and musical instruments. It rests on four arched legs. Red marble top. Martin Ohneberg (Born around 1738) - Cabinetmaker. Paris. Master on July 7, 1773. He operated a workshop on rue Traversière Saint-Antoine and later on cour de la Juiverie. Ohneberg worked for a host of fashionable merchants. He composed his works with care, in a light and sober taste.
