19th Century Napoleon III Inlaid Sewing Table
French sewing table from the second half of the 19th century. A Napoleon III furniture, finely inlaid with geometric decorations in walnut, maple, burl, rosewood, mahogany, and high-quality ebonized wood. The table is richly adorned with brass and bronze decorations (see photo). The furniture features a hinged top that allows access to the contents of the top drawer. There is also an original inset mirror with a horizontal stain due to wear and tear (see photo).
The table also features a large sliding tray at the bottom. The sewing table comes with its original key and working lock. The furniture is structurally sound and solid, with several signs of wear and small veneer losses (see photo). This sewing table is ideal for a bedroom or living room, and is suitable for antique dealers and interior decorators. The item is in fair condition and requires restoration for perfect enjoyment.
