A pair of gilt bronze candlesticks, attributed to Giuseppe Boschi (Rome, 1766–1821). These candelabra rest on a triangular base supported by sphinxes and feature a richly decorated column-shaped stem. The ornamentation includes applied swans and rams' heads, typical of the Roman Neoclassical vocabulary of the late 18th century. The pair demonstrates finely chased bronze work, in the style of Italian pieces intended for grand aristocratic interiors.
