"Engraved Boxwood Tobacco Grater - Folk Art From The Late 18th - Early 19th Century"
A boxwood tobacco grater with engraved decoration within a scalloped border, depicting a flower basket framed by two birds above a heart. The upper part bears the owner's name, "A. Bussereau." The back is engraved with the initials IT and PB. The inner scraper is missing. Folk art from the late 18th to early 19th century. Good overall condition, signs of wear; the end of the spout may have been reattached. Length: 23 cm
