19th Century Mahogany Bookcase
Important mahogany bookcase dating from the mid-19th century. It opens with five glass doors and contains 30 cardboard storage boxes. It has two leather-covered pull-out drawers on the front and a semi-circular inkwell. The drawers are 29 cm deep. The glass is antique, and the shelves are adjustable using a rack and pinion system. The cardboard section locks with small crossbars that prevent the boxes from opening. A high-quality piece of furniture, paneled on the sides. Formerly a notary's cabinet.
