"18th-century Flemish Tapestry "
Early 18th-century Flemish tapestry. Depicting a lively verdure scene with two young fawns drinking from a stream in the foreground. In the background, a village is visible, with several houses, one with a typically Flemish crenellated facade, chapels topped with a bell tower and a cross, and a windmill on the hilltop. A bird is perched in a tree on the left. The border is decorated in the lower corners with two vases from which garlands of foliage and flowers extend. Fully lined and in good condition.
