Henri Lucien Joseph Buron (1880-1969), French painter. Painter of portraits, nudes, landscapes, and still lifes. A student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rouen and then Paris, he studied under François Cormon and Albert Lebourg. He was a professor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rouen. In 1935, as a member of the Salon des Artistes in Paris, he was awarded a gold medal (hors concours), and then in 1937, a third medal at the Universal Exposition.
