Steel, silver, tortoiseshell.
Closed length: 11.8 cm; Open length: 21.6 cm; Blade length: 9.8 cm
Steel blades, single-edged and double-edged, forced edge, marked on one side with D. DIDEROT 1784/1984 and numbered 257; the other side is marked in an oval: NOGENT France JM.
Handle with silver plates numbered 257 on the inside; nickel silver bolsters, engraved with lines; tortoiseshell scales attached by four chiseled silver rosettes.
Perfect condition.
This knife was produced in a limited numbered edition to mark the bicentenary of the death of Denis Diderot.
