"Opaline Glass Bowl On A Gilt Bronze Mount "
A pink opaline glass bowl in the "pigeon's throat" pattern, resting on a finely chased gilt-bronze pedestal decorated with rows of pearls and palmettes, supported by four claw feet. The circular bowl has two bronze handles with palmette and floral motifs. The rim of the bowl is surrounded by a finely chased gallery on which the domed lid rests, fitted with a handle in the shape of a bouquet of flowers. Square base: 10.5 x 10.5 cm. Diameter of the bowl: 18 cm. Width with handles: 25 cm. Height of the bowl: 13 cm or 20 cm with its lid.
