These various views illustrated the work of Count Andrassy, a Hungarian nobleman who fled Budapest in 1849 to travel to the East. His first book, "Voyage to the East Indies," was published in 1853.
These engravings all bear the inscriptions Cte Andrasy Delt- Imp Lemercier Paris and V Adam and E Cicéri Lith / H Cleget and Bayot Lith.
Beautiful 20th-century frames in gilt lacquered wood with bronze rosettes at the corners.
Signs of wear, stains, browning, chips to the frames.
