A rectangular yellow gold and silver cigarette case/card holder with a gadrooned, fluted design. Made by the Puiforcat firm in Paris. Art Deco period, circa 1930. Hallmarked on both sides. Marked "Puiforcat Paris" on the edge. Hallmarks within a common oval (*): eagle's head for 18k gold and boar's head for 8k silver. Maker's mark: EP and a penknife. Puiforcat firm. Founded in 1820.
