Small Mahogany Lady's Secretary Desk, Louis XVI Period
A mahogany and mahogany veneer secretary desk topped with a white Carrara marble slab subtly veined with grey and framed by a brass gallery with a stepped front. The desk features a drawer in the upper section, a drop-front, and three drawers in the lower section. It is covered in black leather with a gilt vignette. The piece has been French polished.
