Louis XVI Period Mahogany Chest Of Drawers With 5 Drawers In 3 Rows
A beautiful Louis XVI period mahogany commode, adorned with bronze mounts. It features five drawers in three rows, semi-engaged columns with fluted and reeded moldings, and bronze sabots at the base of the feet. The original marble top is 27 mm thick. There is a small crack on the front of the marble and a small chip that has been repaired (see photo above). In very good condition, with a beautiful varnish. Late 18th century.
