Signed lower right: Georges Briard (1891-2005), a renowned American painter, decorator, and designer of Ukrainian origin. He emigrated to the United States from Poland and studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. His paintings are signed with his real name, Brodjo, while the decorative pieces in glass, metal, or ceramic that he produced from the 1950s onward are signed Georges Briard. Diameter: 35.5 cm.
