"Louis XVI Style Secretary Desk - Late 18th Century"
Straight lacquered wooden secretary desk with polychrome decoration depicting a romantic scene in the style of BOUCHER, musical instruments, a basket of flowers, Cupid's arrow, and ribbons.It opens at the front with two drawers, a flap revealing compartments, and two doors at the bottom.
The uprights are fluted and rest on front legs with turned feet.
A trefoil key, all locks are functional.
Louis XVI style, late 18th century, early 19th century.
