"Silver Chalice And Paten - 19th Century "
Cup decorated with stylized scrolls in low relief. The two-knotted stem is decorated with flowers and rests on a circular base adorned with flowers and leaves on a matte background. Silversmiths Louis and Arthur DEMARQUET (Brothers), active in Paris from 1869 to 1939. Minerva hallmark for silver (950/1000). Dimensions: 23 cm, weight: 478 grams. Good condition. With a vermeil paten featuring an engraved decoration of the Mystic Lamb in a quatrefoil at the center, with the inscription: PANIS VIVUS AGNUS DEI.
Minerva hallmark for silver (950/1000) and hallmark of the silversmith FAVIER Frère in Lyon.
