Oudry Père Éditeur, second half of the 19th century (circa 1854-1882). Made of repoussé silver-plated metal, decorated with rich bas-relief scenes inspired by Don Quixote: knights in armor, horses, windmills, and picturesque figures. Fine workmanship, inspired by engravings of the period. The case is made of silver-plated copper; there are a few places where the copper is visible, but this is minimal.
