Tapestry entitled "Anemones" after a design by Hervé Lelong, woven in Bogotá in 1978, numbered 2/6.The design features anemones in vibrant colors reminiscent of the 1980s.
Hervé Lelong (1937-2023), passionate about tapestries since childhood, created numerous designs woven in the Aubusson workshops for banks, insurance companies, and private clients. He also designed the large carpet for Chartres Cathedral.
A fabric ribbon, signed by the artist, is sewn onto the back.
