"Limoges Porcelain Milk Jug By Raynaud, Promenade At The Royal Palace "
Raynaud Limoges Porcelain Milk Jug, Promenade at the Palais Royal. One of the most prestigious services from the Raynaud firm in Limoges. The cartouche motifs evoke the customs of the "Incroyables" and "Merveilleuses," the eccentric youth of Paris during the Directory, and are inspired by an engraving by Louis Carrogis, known as Carmontelle (1795-1799). All the figures and foliage are hand-painted before being glazed with colored enamels and dusted with pure gold. It is in very good condition, with a tiny flaw in the gilding on the edge of the base. Height: 12 cm. Discover many other items on our website: https://www.temps-dantan.fr/
