"Frank Will, Lively Street In Saint Père Sous Vezelay, Watercolor And Charcoal Drawing, Located, Signed, Dated 1925"
Frank Will (1900-1950) Notre Dame de Saint Père at Saint Pere sous Vezelay, watercolor and charcoal under glass, located, signed, dated 1925, two tiny imperfections in the clouds, barely visible, perhaps fly specks that appeared before the painting was glazing. This is an interesting watercolor from the School of Paris, depicting a harnessed horse and figures in the street leading to the church. As always with Frank Will, the composition is very luminous with a clear dominance of blues.
