A charming asymmetrical mahogany and satin mahogany veneer cabinet. It opens with a marquetry door featuring ears of wheat and a poppy against a background of rustic ash, four niches, and a compartmentalized music storage section. The upper shelf on the right is rounded and overhanging, supported by a spirally carved upright. The sides are openwork and fitted with carved columns, while the lower section features a sloping crossbar with scalloped edges. Original gilt bronze key, French polished finish.
