Rare bronze inkwell with a golden patina, illustrating a pensive young woman writing, and an owl with a removable head forming a container. The owl has sulphide eyes, the young girl has a headdress decorated with three red cabochons and a brilliant on the drapery. Beautiful quality of chiseling.
