Louis XVI Style Clock
A Louis XVI style clock from the Napoleon III period, crafted from Carrara white marble and gilt bronze, depicting a column on a plinth surmounted by two cherubs supporting the clock face. The clock face itself is surmounted by a torch, quiver, and foliage terminating in a dove, characteristic of the Louis XVI style. The white enamel dial features black Arabic numerals and a garland of flowers. The entire piece rests on a square plinth, the base and column adorned with finely chased and gilt bronze, and rests on small round feet.
