Paul Fouillen (1899-1958) - Second Large Earthenware Platter - Dated 1943
Another piece from my personal collection that I've decided to sell... Another large earthenware dish by Paul Fouillen. It's signed on the back "Paul Fouillen Quimper," dated "25/08/43," and marked "Unique Piece." Connoisseurs will recognize that when a piece from the Fouillen factory is dated in this way, it is indeed a personal creation by Paul Fouillen, made and painted by him, without the intervention of a member of his workshop. These dated pieces are rare on the market. It's a good size, 30 cm in diameter, and in very good condition.
