A beautiful hornbill from the Senufo people (Ivory Coast), a bird that brings happiness and prosperity. In Senufo tradition, the hornbill is one of the five first animals to appear on Earth, along with the crocodile, the snake, the tortoise, and the chameleon. This is a very lovely antique piece from the early 20th century, made of wood. It is in very good condition with a beautiful patina. It measures 61 cm high by 25 cm wide and 11 cm thick, with a 12 cm base. Visually appealing and very decorative!
