A fine-quality, elegant early 19th-century George IV period four-tier mahogany whatnot with gallery top and fixed writing or reading slope. The rectangular top features four identical tiers, all crafted from solid mahogany, supported by tall, elegant turned columns and raised on stylish feet terminating in small brass casters. In excellent original condition, this mahogany display stand (be it a music stand, shelf, or whatnot) retains its original color and warm patination. England, circa 1820.
