Superb sculpture in a noble material. Magnificent work in ivory depicting three horses and a rider on a terrace surrounded by finely carved vegetation and acanthus leaves. Presented in an oval frame of wood and gilt stucco with a sand-colored velvet backing. Features an old collector's stamp. Early 19th century. Good original condition. Frame: 21 cm x 17 cm.
