Art Nouveau Door Handles - Guimard - Eriksson
Two pairs of bronze door handles from the renowned Fontaine firm (established 1740). Fontaine was among the first to collaborate with eminent artists such as Prou, Ruhlmann, Puiforcat, Bourdelle, and Maillol, as well as Guimard, Eriksson, and many others, to create exclusive Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs. These two pairs of bronze handles are each stamped FT for Fontaine. I cannot definitively attribute them to one artist, but it is highly likely that Guimard or Eriksson designed this model. Weight: 160g.
