A very fine shell-shaped model in excellent condition, including the gilt.
No dents or damage, very bright.
There are teeth on one side of the shovel.
The handle and blade are made of solid silver with a gilt finish.
It bears the French Minerva 1st standard hallmark.
The Cardeilhac silversmith's mark is on both the shovel and the handle.
There is no monogram.
A work by the Cardeilhac firm from the mid-to-late 19th century.
Length 31.7 cm.
Weight: 209 g.
