The top is adorned with four hat racks and four coat hooks in finely chiseled gilded bronze, fixed to a central gilded metal ring. The whole is crowned by an elegant, turned wooden finial in the shape of a spinning top.
The main Dumas section consists of an impressive, solid wooden column, sculpted with twisted motifs, lending considerable dynamism and verticality to the piece.
At the base, the shaft divides into a cluster of several twisted columns.
The entire piece rests on a circular base, sculpted with gadroons, terminating in a gilded bronze claw foot.
