A lovely bouquet of flowers painted by the American artist (of Russian origin) Michael Baxte (1890-1972), who fled France during the war to settle in the United States and then Mexico, where he died in 1972. He was an active member of the School of Paris and continues to inspire collectors. Beautifully framed.
