Studio Plaster Statue By Charles Filleul, Woman With A Fan, 20th Century
Artist: Charles Filleul
This plaster statue by Charles Alexandre Filleul (1856-1907) comes from an artist's studio. It is a unique work, a preparatory study, probably for a bronze, what is known as a studio plaster cast. Regarding its condition, several flaws should be noted: the head and fan have been reattached, there are losses behind the neck, small rusty points on the back, and some marks and soiling. We note some wear to the patina, a chip on the nose, holes in the left elbow, and a protruding rusty rod on the right shoulder. The base is reinforced with rusty metal rods. The piece remains presentable, but we want to be honest in our descriptions. Our numerous photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the item. For condition details, please examine the photos carefully. Feel free to zoom in. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Height: 51.5 cm Width: 21 cm Depth: 13.5 cm H5512
