"Set Of 4 Renaissance-style Console Planters "
A rare set of four carved oak console tables in the Renaissance style, forming planters. They come from a château in Franche-Comté, dating from the late 19th century. They are decorated with lion heads on the front and their feet end in deer hooves. The four console tables rest on oak bases from the same period. Some minor damage is visible in the photos, such as part of a keel on a stretcher, the muzzle of a lion's head, and some scratches on the uprights. They need cleaning and were recently dismantled and come directly from the château.
