Gold And Carnelian Jewelry Stamp, Circa 1820
An 18-karat gold (tested) jewelry hallmark, set with a natural, unengraved carnelian of a uniform reddish-orange hue. The solid gold mount is entirely hand-chiseled with a continuous floral design in high relief, executed with great finesse across the entire surface, including areas not directly visible. A high-quality piece, characteristic of early 19th-century jewelry, specifically the Restoration period. A tubular side ring allows it to be worn as a watch or chatelaine pendant. In very good condition, with its original patina preserved. A rare object due to the quality of its craftsmanship, intended for a discerning collector of antique jewelry. Materials: 18-karat gold (750/1000, tested), carnelian. Dimensions: Length 4.8 cm – Diameter 2.7 to 3 cm. Weight: 14 g
