Antique Genoese 18th-century bambocci chest of drawers. Carved walnut, finely adorned with feral feet on the front, side pilasters with floral decorations and praying figures, and anthropomorphic handles, two of which are zoomorphic on the upper drawers. The commode features two parallel drawers under the wooden top, with an owl's beak motif, and two larger drawers underneath.
This beautifully proportioned dresser is ideal for a bedroom or living room. With good capacity and practicality, this chest of drawers is a rare find for antique dealers and interior decorators. It has undergone some minor conservative restoration work over time, but remains structurally original, sound, and solid. Complete with a working key, it is in good condition and has a beautiful patina.
