Irish Lace Centerpiece, Late 19th Century
Superb Irish lace work in off-white thread. The center features flowers and foliage connected by very fine loops. The entire piece is surrounded by a lace made of fine interwoven cords. The border is decorated with rosettes, very typical of Irish lace stitch, joined together by very fine loops. The edge is finished with scalloped edges. Superb work in very good overall condition.
