Giuseppe Di Ciolo was an

anarchist sculptor from Pisa in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, best known for being the father of Spartaco Di Ciolo, also a Futurist sculptor, and for having trained his son artistically. Giuseppe, who trained in Florence under Augusto Rivalta, was a significant figure in the Lucca art scene, influencing the subsequent career of his son Spartaco, born in Vallauris in 1900
