Set Of 4 Louis XVI Chairs
Superb set of four Louis XVI style "à la reine" chairs, original paintwork. Carved wood decoration featuring floral garlands on openwork backs and a Greek-style wave frieze on the rails. Quiver-shaped legs inspired by the work of the great cabinetmaker Georges Jacob. Very good condition, but needs reupholstering. 19th century.
