This very beautiful antique rug from the Kachgay region of Persia dates from the 1920s/1930s. Made entirely of wool, this rug is full of geometric patterns, yet of great finesse, while retaining a handcrafted (tribal) character. Its natural colors remain vivid and luminous. Some general wear is noted.
