Magnificent polychrome wooden statue, gilded with its original gold leaf, of St. Joseph carrying Jesus on his right arm. The faces are wonderfully expressive, full of sensitivity, and remarkably endearing. The back of the statue is hollowed out to accommodate objects or relics. The polychromy of the magnificent gilded drapery of St. Joseph's garment shows some losses, but the fruitwood structure is in very good condition; only Jesus's hand is missing.
