Art Deco Chandelier Henri Petitot Verrerie Ezan Circa 1930
Artist: Petitot & Ezan
An iconic design from Maison Henri Petitot in the 1930s, this Art Deco chandelier in copper-plated brass features five horizontal, streamlined arms with stylized decoration, supporting circular molded-pressed glass shades, each signed Ezan France, with a frosted finish and transparent edges on two tiers. A central inverted pyramidal glass diffuser sits beneath the stem. The stem is composed of thirty solid glass rods inserted into the structure, diffusing light through a long bulb. The glass pieces are in excellent condition; only one rod has a repaired break, barely visible to the naked eye and invisible once the chandelier is hung. The brass patina shows normal wear. The original wiring is functional but does not meet current safety standards. Upgrading to current standards is recommended. Diameter 72 cm, height 85 cm.
