Kelvin Hughes marine compass, British made, mid-20th century (circa 1950). Brass case with tempered glass window, 360° graduated dial, marked "Made in Great Britain". The compass is mounted on a circular base and equipped with a magnetic correction lateral housing. Dimensions: – Height: 23 cm – Width: 28 cm – Base diameter: 22 cm. Condition consistent with age: patina on the brass, signs of use, glass with visible marks. Instrument not tested for use in modern navigation.
