Louis XVI Style Display Cabinet
A beautiful mahogany and gilt bronze display cabinet with a glass back. The top is a Serravezza breccia marble with an inverted cavetto molding. The cornices feature beaded gilt brass frames and intertwined laurel leaves. The sides and doors have beveled glass and spindle-shaped frames. The rounded uprights have stepped moldings and a stylized keyhole escutcheon. The apron is decorated with acanthus leaves. The legs are fluted, with laurel wreaths and foliate sabots.
