Rare Antique Steam model, late 1800s.
Likely German origin.

The model features two brass components: on the left a water octoad boiler with a figure blowing into a small tube at the top. Under an alcohol stove.
On the right is a structure with a height-adjustable rod that supports a paddle wheel that is driven by the jet of steam coming from the tube.
Wooden base on lion paw feet.

This model served as a teaching tool to explain the transformation of energy from steam thermal to mechanical energy.

Rare collector's item in excellent condition.
