Arts & Crafts style table lamp in two parts, consisting of a cast iron base with three copper rods and a ring in which sits a removable copper section, originally an oil tank, fitted with a socket and electrical cord, surmounted by a recent fabric lampshade. Designed and manufactured by WAS Benson, United Kingdom, circa 1900-1910.
