Pyrogen Caricature Of Hunchback 19th Century
Dantan, Daumier, and Guillemin are the three most famous caricaturists of the 19th century. Their insightful sketches in the press and reflecting the current events of their time were also used to create torches. Here is a fine depiction of the hunchback, who doesn't come from Notre Dame… I know, he wasn't wearing a tailcoat there. The object is made of cast metal and is in perfect condition. The top hat probably served as a match holder, making it a pyrotechnic device.
