Bust of a young woman in the Art Nouveau style by Emmanuel Villanis, the renowned sculptor (Lille 1858 - Paris 1914), trained in Italy and later working in Paris. His extensive body of work featured numerous well-known female figures from biblical, mythological, literary, and operatic traditions, including Aida, Cinderella, Esmeralda, Manon, and Thaïs. This early bronze piece is signed and numbered, retaining its original patina with minor scratches. It measures 27 cm in height and weighs 2.4 kg.
