Rare Mechanical steam toy with automaton and music box.
Around 1920, German origin.
The toy features a hand-painted tin figure that operates a mechanism with a working music box.
The toy has a wooden base and a striped canopy.
These types of toys were designed to be connected and operated by a steam engine, but in this case you can also operate them manually by turning a small crank, in doing so the music box begins to play and the figure also moves the legs.
