17th-century Period Four-door Wardrobe
A substantial 17th-century solid wood wardrobe, opening at the front with four doors and two drawers arranged in a frieze. The upper section features two richly paneled doors with molded decoration, displaying architectural motifs typical of 17th-century regional production. The lower section comprises two wide, also molded doors, creating a pleasing balance of proportions. The two central drawers, fitted with dovetail joints, are adorned with antique metal handles. The uprights are highlighted with low-relief carvings, while the cornice, finely carved with scrolls and vegetal motifs, elegantly crowns the whole. A beautiful, warm patina, indicative of age and use, with signs of wear consistent with its antiquity. A wardrobe of character, both functional and decorative, ideal for a period or rustic interior.
