Pair Of Large Oil Lamps With Moderators, Painted Porcelain, Bouquet Design, Napoleon III Period (1851-1870)
Large 68cm (49.5cm + glass) cream porcelain lamps with a bouquet of flowers, painted and enameled, covering a significant portion of the baluster shape. The bouquets are painted in reverse, not identically (mirror image). A black and gold collar at the top and bottom emphasizes the shape and the Napoleon III period. The base is made of thick, intricately worked gilt bronze, providing excellent stability to the lamp on its four feet. The glass, in tubes and spheres engraved with laurel wreaths, completes and finishes the ensemble. The brass and bronze parts have been carefully cleaned and polished, restoring the original appearance of this pair of lamps, which could be electrified after adaptation. These high-quality, meticulously crafted pieces were luxury lighting fixtures during the reign of Napoleon III (1851-1870). They are in very good overall condition. Shipping available, carefully packaged and reinforced, sent by registered mail with signature confirmation, insurance, and online tracking via tracking number (flat shipping fee applies).
